1. Is it safe to use my credit card online?
You are 100% protected against credit card fraud when you shop online at Lord John Press. If, after reading this information, you are still uncomfortable shopping online, you have more choices:

The Lord John Press website utilizes SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology. Secure socket layers encrypt credit card information so it can't be read by anyone but Lord John Press. This encryption is some of the most powerful encryption available today. As mentioned above, shopping at Lord John Press is 100% safe - Guaranteed! In the unlikely event of an unauthorized use of your credit card at Lord John Press, we will reimburse you if you properly notify your bank or credit card company and they do not cover all fraudulent charges. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any portion of the $50, Lord John Press will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50 if the unauthorized use of your credit card, through no fault of your own, resulted in a purchase made at Lord John Press while utiliizing our secure servers. In the event of any unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

2. What methods of payment does Lord John Press accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cashiers Checks/Money Orders (Processing Time: 7 Business Days), Debit cards that bear a Visa or MasterCard logo and PayPal. Payment is only accepted from the countries we ship to.
PayPal provides an easy and centralized method to pay by credit card or through your checking account, through a secure and independent party. PayPal simply pays Lord John Press for your purchase. You control how much money is in your PayPal account.
To pay for your order with PayPal, you must first establish a PayPal account. Once established, you can deposit funds into this account from your credit card or from your checking account. Once the funds are in your account and your address is confirmed in accordance with PayPal policy, you can place your order on our website. To establish a PayPal account, click here and go to the link that says "Sign up for your FREE PayPal Account!". If you need additional assistance, you can contact PayPal's Customer Service by phone at 1-888-221-1161.
Special note on PayPal: Lord John Press does not accept PayPal for International orders.

3. What is product availability?
Please note that listed availability might not be applicable for multiple copies of an item, and that sudden demand for an item can have an effect on its availability. We will inform you by phone or e-mail if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Shipping times are calculated from the time your merchandise leaves Lord John Press. Online orders are usually processed, packed and shipped in 2-3 business of your order. This would be delayed if an order were placed over the weekend or on a holiday. Please make your arrangements accordingly.
Please remember that your credit card is not charged until your pre-order item(s) is/are shipped. If any information on your order has changed (i.e. credit card or shipping address) between the day you placed the pre-order and the shipping date, please notify Lord John Press immediately.

4. Where does Lord John Press ship to?
Where Lord John Press Ships: Lord John Press currently ships within the United States. We also ship to Canada. Customers shipping outside the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Additionally, when ordering from Lord John Press, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Please note that we are required by law to accurately list both the contents of the package, and list the customs value of the package as the amount you paid for the order.
If you either refuse the shipment or refuse payment of any customs charges, we reserve the right to either bill your credit card or deduct the return shipping charges from any credit you may receive. In addition, you are responsible for return shipping charges any item(s) not allowed to be imported to your country. Additionally, shipments to Hawaii & Alaska can only be shipped via 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air.
Special note for orders shipping outside the United States: Lord John Press will not ship to any address other than the cardholder's billing address. We will only ship to the billing address and no alternate shipping address. Your order will not begin to be processed until all required information is given and confirmed by Lord John Press. Additional processing time may be required for international orders.
In some cases, Lord John Press may need additional information regarding the cardholder’s account. An email will be sent to the cardholder requesting a copy of the credit card or bank statement and a form of identification. The information will need to be faxed to (818) 366-6674. Once the information is received and verified the order will begin to be processed.
Where Lord John Press does NOT Ship: Guam, Virgin Islands and everywhere else outside North America. Including, Hotels, Motels or temporary residences.
Special note for APO/FPO and PO Box addresses: If Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air service is chosen, your order will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Service (average 2-3 days).

5. What is your Return Policy?
Lord John Press wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is simple; we will accept any items ordered from Lord John Press within 30 days of receipt if the following conditions are met:
Item(s) cannot be used and must remain in original packaging. Any form of alteration of any material is considered to be used and non-returnable. If the item meets these requirements, a full refund, minus shipping cost will be refunded to the billing party. If your item has been opened and you simply do not like the item(s), ordered the wrong item(s), or it just wasn't what you expected, a refund can be issued, minus shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. The item must be in brand new and resalable condition. If your item has been damaged in shipping, please refuse the package if possible. If you have already accepted the item and realized the item has been damaged after you have opened the package, please contact Lord John Press immediately and either a call tag will be issued or the item replaced. Either way, Lord John Press will replace the items immediately at no cost to you. No returns will be accepted for items purchased at Lord John Press Auctions. All auction items are sold "as-is" and all sales are final. To initiate a return, please call (818) 360-5804 or contact us anytime with an explanation for the return. Lord John Press will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number that will need to be written on the shipping box. Lord John Press will NOT accept any returns without an RMA number marked on the outside of the shipping box. The customer is entirely responsible for return shipping costs as well as items lost in transit, so we recommend you use a shipper such as FedEx or UPS where the package can be tracked and insured.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. Final approval of any refund amount is based on final inspection from Lord John Press Operations Department.
Special note on International Orders: All sales are final and items are not returnable.

6. What can I expect after a place an order?
Lord John Press wants to keep you as informed as possible and will send you emails regarding the status of your order. You will receive emails in the following order and/if your order consists of these issues:
You will automatically be sent an order confirmation email shortly after you submit your order. If you have not received this email please call us at (818) 360-5804 to verify that the order has been placed or the correct email address was entered.
If there is a problem with billing address or shipping address you will be emailed within 1-2 business days after the order is placed.
If any items in your order are out of stock and/or discontinued from the manufacturer, you will be emailed within 1-2 business days showing which items are of concern.
Once your order has shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number (FedEx or UPS) or a Delivery Confirmation Number (USPS).

7. How do I cancel my order?
Please call us at (818) 360-5804 to cancel your order. E-mail cancellations will NOT be accepted because it is not a dependale form of communication.

9. Do you accept PayPal for international orders?
We do not accept PayPal for international orders because PayPal does not confirm international addresses. In order to prevent internet fraud, Lord John Press will only ship to a "Confirmed Address."
10. Where is your retail store located and what are it's hours?
Currently, we are by appointment only. When in Los Angeles please be sure to call us in advance to arrange a visit.
